Love at 1st sight: 1st, 2nd and 3rd parts combined!!

My classes have ended today. Tomorrow is Saturday, a holiday finally. And on Friday evening, I feel like king of the world; very jubilient and enthusiastic. I wanted to see the day light being replaced by the dusk and discover how it feels when the hectic days are replaced by nights, gradually. Is it the absence  of light or is it because mother nature wants to sleep now , turning of the lights of her room.
I was sharing all these things with my best buddy (Jigri) when something charismatic happened. I saw someone coming towards the garden where we were sitting. It took no time for me to conclude that she was a pretty gal coming along with her group of friends.

Just when she was about to pass us, she turend back and threw a beautiful smile. I caught it and kept it inside my shirt’s left pocket, close to my heart. That smile did a magic on me. It pleased my heart. My friend shook me and said,

Jigri: “oe hero! Romeo vayis ki kya ho juliet ko smile Dekhera??"
Me: “Ma romeo ho ki haina tyo ta tha xaina, tara tyo mero lagi juliet nai vayi yaar aba.”
Jigri: “K garxas ta aba?”

Me: “ Khai yaar! fan vaye aba. Fan le k garxa uhi fan following ta ho ni. “

Jigri: “ Ja gayaera bolna ta. K tha single po xe ki, feri valentine’s day pani ta najikidai xa ni. K tha tero taa-ka fit po hunx ki. Ja kudi haal!”

I didn’t think anyting. I immdiately ran towards her. She was some 50 metres far from me. I went close to the girls and asked;

Me: "Hello girls! Would you mind if I ask u to excuse me and this pretty girl for just 5 minutes. Have something to talk about , please!"
Girls: "Sure! All the girls giggled and signaled bye to both of us.

Pretty Girl: "Hey! Who are you and why do you want to talk to me, I don’t think we have met before."
Me: “ ummm! Yes! This is the very first time I saw you.”
Pretty Girl: “So what? “
Me: “Have something to tell you dear. "
Pretty girl: “ and what is that?”

Me: “Do you believe in love at first sight or I have to pass by you again and again?”
Pretty girl replies with a smile “is that all?”

Me: “no no, something more. "

Pretty girl: “go on then?”

Me: “that smile drove me crazy. 2-times; back to back.”
pretty girl: “okay I am leaving now. I am getting late, mom must be worried by now.”

She turned back immediately, perhaps to hide her expressions. She ran quickly and caught her friends who were around 50 meters ahead staring at us and out gestures. They left for their home and I felt like; nuts. Couldn’t ask her number, Facebook id neither. Had no idea about her and which year she was studying, Nothing at all. I returned home and that entire night I couldn’t sleep. I was busy thinking about her.

I called my Jigri to the college next morning and he was there in 15 mins. I was well dressed and he said:

Jigri: “saley naya luga layera aako chhas. Aja college ma Bihe ko party chha jasto lagyo ho talai?”
Me: “tero bhauju aauxe ki vanera aako ni mula.”
Jigri: “saley aaja bida bhanne birsis, Saturday ko. K khana aauxe aaja college?”

Me: “ah ho yaar. psycho bhaye chhu ma pani. Sweetie kai bare matra sochda sochda.”
Jigri: “waah yar name ni rakhi sakechhas ta ahile nai.”

Me: “ ah yaar. ani teska name, kun year ma padhxe patta laga na.”
Jigri: “mula, malai k James Bond bhanthanis ki kya ho taile. Kasari patta lagaunu?”

We both were returning home when something unexpected happened.
I saw her coming towards me. She smiled from a distance. She came and stopped in front of me, no smiles now.
Jigri: “tapai ko smile chai ho k, Bhauju.”

Sweetie: “excuse me!”

Me: “huh?”
Sweetie: “ you both are standing in the door. Let me get in, I am already late for the extra class.”

I couldn’t help myself, ended up staring at her until she entered inside her classroom.

Jigri: “sweetie ko back view chai ho k, kto.”

Me: “mu**!! Sweetie mero, bhauju tero, bujhis! Ani bhauju AMA saman hunxa. Sale Ama ko bare ma yesto bolna laaj lagdaina talai?”

Jigri: “sorry yaar, galti vayexa. :P maff garde :P ”

Me: “ ho aba vete paxi sorry vann teri vauju lai.”

jigri: “la hunxa ani vann voli ko k xa ta plan?”

Me : “kina tero bihe ho voli? Janti jana plan garna lai?”

jigri: “haina mula! Bholi rose day nita, valentines day ko 1st round.”
Me: “kina 2nd round/ 3rd round pani hunxa?”

Jigri: “ah yaar! yo february lai ta month of love nai vanxan ni. Sunday bata suru hunxa, Friday semi-final ani Saturday ta final vai nai halyo ni love-cup ko. :D”

Me: “tait! Ma mandina ysto jhar-pat kura haru.”
jigri: “herr bhai! GF vako manxe le Khaire ko new year, christmas, valentines day sab thok manaunu parxa. Practice gari rakh, paxi kam lagxa.”

I thought for a while and decided to go with his suggestions.

Next day………

“The season of love has started from today”,  what my jigri had said in the last part. I was standing, in front of a gift shop fully decorated with seasonal gifts and full of roses. Roses of every color; Red , white , pink, yellow and so on.

Me: “confuse vaye yar help gar na. teri vauju lai kun chai color ko rose dim van ta?”
Jigri: “pink dena ta, love ko starting  vanxan ni ta tyo color ko rose lai ani tesle pani bistarai 14th February samma tero bare ma sochna po thalxe ki, friendship pani agi badla”
Me: “nai yar, diye pachi ta sidhai red rose nai dine ho ni. K ko kanjushi. Herna  Red Rose: Rs. 150  and Pink Rose: Rs. 100 lekhya xa. 50 ruppees ko lagi k ko lob yar feri  afnai manxe ta pari ”
Jigri: “lu lu j garnu xa gar vai. Lu herum aba tero love story ma yaha bata kasto twist audo raixa :D ”

A sano bhai was sitting in that shop. I asked him where  his dad was or someone elder to him whom I could pay the sum and head towards my destination of the day.

Sano bhai: “malai dinu vaye hunta dada, ma baba lai dimla ni. Uh para su-su garna janu vako ta ek tin ma farki halnu hunta ni ”

I handed him Rs. 200 and asked him to buy a chocolate of the extra 50 Rs.
Sano bhai: “than-ku dada ”

Me: “tesari hoina gala ma chuppa garera thank you vana ta bhunte vai”
Sano bhai kissed me gently on my right cheek and observing all these childish things, my jigri made fun of me. I told him that a kiss from an innocent child is a sign of good luck, what my younger sister (nanu) used to tell me.

We both went to the college and to the same garden, where I had first seen her, this time some 20 minutes early. Finally, after 30 minutes of wait, she finally came into vision. This time, with a boy. I was really too shocked to see this and blank too because I had no idea how to give my Red Rose to my beautiful queen. Furthermore, I wasn’t sure about this new guy, if he was her boy friend. I asked my jigri to approach her and give it to her on my behalf. As soon as I had said that, he vanished from there in no time.
At the mean time, an idea strike my mind when I saw a small girl passing by my side and going close to them. I called her and asked her to give my red rose  to the person just  in front  of her, indicating my queen. The deal was set in Rs 100 with me handing her a rhino-pictured-note. Immediately, she ran up to her shouting and calling her addressing her as “Sanisha Didi”. I followed my jigri’s path and vanished from there because by that time, I was sure that, this girl knew her personally and she would point at me for sure if she had asked her about the sender.

I didn’t know what happened after that but I saw sweetie putting my rose in the side pocket of her bag. I was happy because at least she had accepted that rose, indirectly though, I guess. But more than that, because I finally came to know her name.

“Sa-ni-sha”, her name echoed in my mind. “so, she has got a very special name”, I told myself.
This name beeped in my mind that entire night and didn’t let me sleep even for a single minute. Reverberation or echo whatever it was, it was in To-and-fro motion inside my mind and emotionally attached to my heart. She had hijacked my mind as a terrorist does to an air-plane.

A series of sleepless nights had made ma dull and crazy.
“May be that guy was his boy friend” My mind told my heart.
 May be my mind was right, I thought, perhaps because it was an instruction sent BY my brain itself. But then my heart confronted;
“tyo torpe le ka patyauna sakxa yar tero sweetie lai. Thopda her na saley ko tyo vanda ta tai smart xas, handsome xas ni. 10-son na li, tero hune wala 1-son and 1-daughter ko ama ni terai sweetie nai banne xe, aati herr, gurantee ma linxu hmmm??”

This text from my own heart really motivated me and next day, I went to a chocolate shop and bought a packet of orange balls. I had heard that girls of all kind liked this toffee. Then bought a card full of shapes of heart that included almost all the feelings that I had for her whenever she comes in front of me.

Out of the blue, I saw my Jigri running and coming towards me hurriedly.

Jigri: “oe mula sun na maile patta lagaye ni. Vauju ta hami vanda 2 batch senior po raixa ta yar. B.Architecture ma padira raixe. Full name chai; “Sanisha Shrestha, urf sani”
Me:”eh testo po. Taile ka bata thaha paisa ta kto?”
Jigri: “saley sathi ho ni tero. Teti ta gari halxu ni tero lagi J”

Me: “van na saley kutte, kasari patta lagayis?”

Jigri: ”la sun… asti ta tyo group ma bolna jada euti kali black-beauty thyi ni ho tyo kt mero ghar tira basdi raixe ani gadi ma jada tei din bolya, tesaile vanya ho malai hijo”
Me; ”eh ani k vanera sodhis ta teslai mula?”
Jigri: “Pattaya ko ni mula tero lagi. Ani patte paxi ta j ni bhani halxan ni kt harle. Tero lagi pattyaideko ni saley, ta ni k yaad rakhxas ;) ”
“ani van aja propose hande na ta kehi reply aauxa ki tespaxi?” He added.

I continued my walk to the college where I saw her few steps ahead of me, walking equal to my walking speed. I took few quick steps to reach her when I realized that the speed of the to-and-fro motion of the pendulum inside my heart had further increased. Anyway, I took control of my heart, put my hands behind my back to hide the chocolate and card and called her by her name, this time.

Me; "sani-sha"

sani: "hajur??"

Me: "hey happy chocolate day :)"

Sanisha: “Thank you but did you call me with my name, just now? Huh?”

Me:         “umm yes! :) ”

Sanisha:  “how did you know my name, by the way?”

Me: “Wish of heart you know :)  <3 . Wanted to know about you. So, started with
your name :) ”

Sanisha: “Are you hiding something behind  your back?”

Me: “no no! Nothing. Actually, I just love to talk standing in this gesture. Hehehe…”

Sanisha:  “I guess, those are chocolates, right? I would accept it if you give it to me today. To be honest, I love chocolates.  <3 :)”

Me: “okay sure. Please take this. Bought this some hours ago, only for you :)”

Sanisha “oh wow orange balls. I love <3 <3 them :) :) but we don’t find them nowadays, where you found them?”

Me: “bought them in a shop closer to the Bhaktapur durbar square area. They had this last packet left with them :)”

Sanisha: “Thanks! What’s your name?”

Me: “Special….Special Pokharel :)”

Sanisha: “So you are bahun baje?? Hmm… where is your tuppi?”

Me: “Bad joke from a sweet person, you know.”

Sanisha: “Jokes apart, sorry. BTW what faculty you study?”

Me: “Mechanical Engineering, first year. :) You, 3rd year, right :)?”

Sanisha: “umm..Yes. you know, you are 2 batch junior to me and you still tryin’ on me, huh?”

This time, I was speechless. So I asked my heart to answer her question because it was all his
deal and It took no time to answer.

My heart: “I didn’t know who you were, what level you studied, what you are in real, neither your name nor your caste.
Nothing else mattered to me then and it is still the same case now. I didn’t love your for any reason. Actually I love you from the very first
sight and that is itself one reason that I love you now and then. <3 <3”

Sanisha:  “Okay then give me one reason why you think you love me?”

Me: “You give one reason why I shouldn’t love you <3 Sanisha. :)”

Sanisha: “I am not that beautiful, you know.”

Me: “Yes I know that but external beauty is not what I am talking about. I am talking all about the beauty that lies inside you :)”

Sanisha: “So, how did you know that I am beautiful from inside? It hasn’t been long since we first met ! Hmmm?”

Me: “Are you habituated of asking a lot of questions, one after another?”

Sanisha: “Umm…yeah! Answer please!”

Me: “To be honest, I don’t know what thing in you attracts me. Perhaps, it’s your beautiful eyes whose one glance is enough to kill me
from inside or simply your presence alone. It can be the smell you leave in the air while passing by me which slaps my cheeks
time and again. But those slaps do not hurt. Those slaps are like arrow hit by a cupid that makes me fall for you every single time I see you!
May be it can be all of these reasons altogether.”

Sanisha: “wow!! Your dialogue delivery is really so awesome! Why don’t you become a hero of a film? You look cute too  <3 <3 ;) ”

Me: “I am already one character of my love story and I would become a hero only when you become  my heroine. No hero without a heroine you know :) :) ”

Sanisha: “Did you send me that beautiful Rose from my younger sister’s hand ?”

Me: “yes…  Actually, I want to grow old with you marking and celebrating all those beautiful days dedicated to love and lovers. I can’t
promise our love to be like that of Romeo and Juliet but I wanna assure you that as long as I live, you would be the only woman I would think about in my entire life. I love you passionately and unconditionally <3 <3 <3.”

Sanisha: “So, I gotta enter inside my class room. See you later.”

Me: “Where’s my answer?”

Sanisha: “I will think about it. I need time. Lets meet in the evening after our classes end huss:) ?”

Me: “Okay! See ya .. study well! :)”

So, she went to her classroom and I went to mine. I couldn’t concentrate well in the classroom. Well, you might think that this is my 1st love. But, it’s not I have had crush on some other girls too, in the past but no one had hijacked my mind like this before. I slept more when I felt like I liked this girl, in those days. But now, I am sleepless for over a week. Anyway, my classes have ended but I didn’t see her even after waiting her for an hour.

Jigri: “Bhauju le ta talai side lagai jasto xa ni mula”

Me: “khai yaar!! Valentine’s day auna ajhai time baki xa ni, kurum la ni! Baru ma 1 week dekhi sutna sakya xaina k garne vann na!”

Jigri: “Jum chiya-churot khana.  Eso 2-3 stick cig ko puff le na ani belka sutne bela ma tucha khaide mast nindra lagxa ani ta.”

Me: “Hoss yaar! nakhane daru, churot ta, bani xaina ani man pani pardaina. Jum baru coffee piuna café tira. Malai ta coffee nai kaafi xa yaar nasa lagauna.”

That night, I was satisfied and my heart was happy because I was able to tell her what I felt from inside heart. I felt light. Her answer didn’t matter
much to me. Because I didn’t love her for any reason.  I don’t have any expectations from her, either.

I had a very deep sleep that night. In my dreams, I saw her and the entire scenes/pictures of the events that took place between me and her that day revolving around my sub-conscious mind. I didn’t know why I was observing all these past events like the flashbacks of the scenes of a movie.
All of a sudden, my mobile-alarm rang up so loudly making me fully awake. I stopped the alarm and woke up. My mobile informed me that today is 14th February, the finale of love cup; the Valentine’s day finally. By 11 AM, I have reached my college where I met my jigri sitting inside the college’s canteen.

Jigri: “k xa ta tero khabar saley?”

Me: “sunn na saley, maile talai ra sweetie lai sapana ma dekhe thye ni ani maile teslai rose day ma red rose ani chocolate diyera propose ni garide ni
yaar. Mann ko kura ni sabai vanidiye.”

Jigri: “Mu** real life ma yedi taile teso garya vaye ahile agadi herr tero sweetie tyo torpe kaley sanga angalo marera gai raa hunthena. Ta ni ma
sanga navayera terai sweetie sanga basera coffee piyi-rako hunthis mu**. Thukka dukhi aatma!”

I thought for a while again and realized that my Jigri was absolutely right this time as well. I couldn’t gather courage to go to her and talk to her
straight away. But this is real life, things do not happen as in movies.

J sochyo tei paucha vane ni xaina.Ra chaheko chij jindagi ma paunu parcha vane ni xaina.

Maya ta uslai dherai garxu tara expectation rakhdina uss prati. Kaash, yedi real life pani yeti masale-daar hudo ho vani life kati perfect hunthyo
hola hai. coffee ko chuskee lidai baseko xu café ma. Aaja ko din pani jigri sangai date gardai bityo.

J hoss next valentine’s day ma chai vani-chhadxu uslai. Salman khan ko style ma, Wanted ma  jhai commitment
garxu. :) :)

 THE END!!!!!

Love can happen twice: a short love story

“She didn't have any female friends because she was one of the most beautiful girls, I have ever seen in my life. Girls envied her beauty and wished if they could be as beautiful as her.

Therefore, she hardly had any friend of her gender,in her class, her neighborhood or anywhere. So, she made some male friends in her class. And this scenario was something unusual, something that we rarely observe in our society. She took them as her friends, as always but her beauty was simply irresistible and why would any guy want to be “JUST FRIENDS” with her, even after having a
huge crush on her? This is just like; “not eating a pan cake which is just in front of you, for no
reason, you know you are hungry still you can’t
eat it. “

“Yes, she walked with boys, spent time with some of them and was close to some more. This made
other boys and even the girls too jealous, jealous because everything they wished was associated
with her, their crush and their wish side by side. In return, they called her ‘a bitch’, ‘a slut’ and
spread rumors about her.”

“I was known about all these, very well indeed. Still, I loved her. I loved her even more. I didn't
care about what people say of her or how they would take me considering all these things. It
didn't matter to me; not at all. I know she had loved me as much as I had loved her. They say
“rumors are half true, for least”. But, it didn't have any impact on me. “

“Whenever I saw her eyes, I could see the ocean of love she had for me, inside it. The glow and
the never decreasing charm, which I always witnessed in her eyes, all these years, was
everything to me. She wasn't of my race, not of my religion actually but that too didn't matter. I
barely shared any ‘man-made; similarity terms’ with her, existing in the present world. However, I
had a bond with her which was greater than any bond that links with humans of this world, with
each-other."

But, you know past is past.
What’s gone can’t return back.
My Past was her,
but my present is all you…

They say “we fall in love for no reason” but I can tell you the reason, why I have fallen for you. It is
because of your eyes; they talk to Me , the way her eyes talked to me. Your presence gives me
exactly the same feelings like she used to give, when she was around me. Your soul may be
different but you resemble her in essence and this makes me realize that I love you more than any
poet could rhyme, any lecturer could define and anyone could ever imagine. Perhaps, I love you
more than I think I do.

But, all you would do is appreciate my feelings. I know, you would not accept it though. Because,
someone else is in your life, right now. You consider him to be; your everything. I understand
that; but I am no Romeo who could sacrifice his love time and again, just for his lover’s happiness,
her sweet smile. I guess, you know it very well that I love you. I love you a lot, but………. I am
selfish. I have greed and that’s to own you and your soul. I feel too jealous when you smile, and
your eyes tell me that you belong to someone else. But your smile keeps me alive, it makes me
breathe. I don’t want to lose you again. I want to be, by your side as long as I breathe, I would love
to leave the world happily with your last sweet smile at the end of my life.
